Mmmm, let's see, a distinct taste of buttery apple and butterscotch.... and ooh, a nice hint of toasty French oak, really refreshing and complex in its flavor. What a lovely Chardonnay. What?? It is non-alcoholic?!! This is the amazing taste of the 2004 Ariel Chardonnay!
If you have a gathering and have guests who do not wish to drink alcohol, or you host an afternoon party, you could serve Perrier or juices, but it would be so much more savvy, elegant and interesting to serve the non-alcoholic Ariel wines? Ariel is truly the world's best producer of non-alcoholic wines, and their esteemed products have won medals against alcoholic wines in blind tasting! For example, in 1986, the Ariel Blanc was awarded the Gold Medal at the Los Angeles County Fair, against wines with alcohol.
Since their first commercial production, in 1985, Ariel wines have garnered recognition from critics and connoisseurs in the world-wide wine arena. Now, a division of J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, Ariel wines include Blanc, White Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Brut Cuvee. What a rich selection of wonderful tasting "wines" without the alcohol. You can find Ariel wines at www.arielvineyards.com.
Ariel wines are made from premium grapes grown in California, including varietals from Sonoma and Cabernet grapes from Napa. The legal definition of "non-alcoholic" in reference to any beverage means the product must contain less than one half of 1% of alcohol. So basically, Ariel wines contain less alcohol than most freshly squeezed orange juice, yet they taste so rich and remarkably like real wine!
We suggest, over time, you discover the different varieties of Ariel wines and pair each one with a different music companion, whether you have a party or just want to create a great ambience in your own home. For starters, we suggest you try the lovely Ariel Blanc while playing Basia's breezy debut album "London Warsaw New York" in the background. Let the amazing aromas of lilac and jasmine entice your palate to taste the lingering peach and lavender and lychee. Oh yum! The Ariel Blanc would be the perfect accompaniment to the light hearted and upbeat mood coneyed by Basia's music.
